- A friend of mine just bought Front Page Sports Football and is having
- a problem with it. When ever he gets into the program at the main menu the
- program acts as if the HELP function is stuck on. Whenever the mouse is over
- a menu box the help screen pops up. This prevents him from playing the game.
-
- Things I have tried to help him fix the situation is stipping down
- autoexec and config.sys files to have only what is needed. No go. Removed
- the mouse and mouse driver completely. No go. Reinstalled it. No go. Borrowed
- another original copy and installed it. Still did not work. This means it is
- a hardware problem. I don't know any of the specifics about his machine other
- than it is a 25 MHz 386 (or maybe 486) 4M ram, 1M SVGA video card (Symtec)
- 175M HD, IDE MS-Mouse. That is about all I know.
-
- Is there anyone who has had a similar problem and has been able to
- fix it, my friend would be very gratefull. Please post or Email me.
-
- Thanks in advance.
