  21. I think that the comp.compression gurus just confirmed that the Maltese
  22. Amoeba virus is a false alarm, cause by the non-standard exe headers or
  23. something like that. The MAV only shows up in the Norton Antivirus
  24. program, and scan 99 etc. does not show the virus.

  26. There have been a few ruffled feathers at comp.compression, but
  27. everything's fine now. Still, there are a few minor bugs here and there,
  28. which, they hope, will be ironed out by 2.1 ...
