- I got the Veliki Luki (or however it's spelled) battleset for Christmas. It
- is great. Much better than Utah Beach (which is still quite good). The
- scenario is pretty tough from both sides (the Germans struggling against
- the sea of Soviet forces and the Soviets struggling with their powerful but
- unwieldy army).
-
- Anyway, the game system has several enhancements over Utah Beach AND it really
- is a battleset game despite what 360 said earlier. If you have an early copy
- of Utah Beach you can get a scenario update from 360 for $5.00 (for postage)
- to allow you to play it with the newer V4V program that came with Veliki.
-
- There are some new combat options (like "Shoot'n'Scoot" for motorized
- artillery) and the computer seems a bit more competent in its play though
- it still isn't aggressive enough in my opinion.
-
- It looks like the next battleset will be Operation Market Garden since that
- is on the Scenario Selection screen.
