- I prefer longer than shorter, in terms of length of interviews, length of
- articles, et al. I'm perfectly capable of skimming through articles.
- I'd rather have an overly long review that tells me what I want to know,
- than to have a terse review that leaves a lot of information.
-
- As far as I'm concerned, it isn't "too much." I changed over to the
- text version when I got annoyed at the size. That was no big deal--the
- screen shots are of debatable value TO ME. On the one hand, it is nice
- to see what the game looks like. On the other hand, two or three
- "slides" don't really tell the story. It doesn't justify the valuable
- disk real-estate that it takes. I've been very happy with the text-only
- version. I'm hoping for even more comprehensive issues in the future.
-
- Personally, I think it would be interesting to see some "special
- editions" in the future--especially if things get slow. Have a special
- edition devoted entirely to flight simulators, and pack it with reviews
- of various flight sim programs--Falcon, AOTP, SWOTL, add-ons, joysticks
- and yokes, hints and strategies, etc. Another time, have a special
- edition devoted entirely to CRPG's or adventures. And one for
- action/arcade games. One for sports games, etc. Reprint some previous
- reviews and collect new material. Those people who tend to play games in
- only one or two genres might be very pleased with the result.
