- Yeah, it runs slower. It's a _previous_ version of the engine, so
- they probably made quite a few optimizations for Wolf 3D. In
- addition, EGA can actually be slower than VGA because you have to
- worry about cramming two pixels into a single byte instead of just one
- (masking fun), and of course 640x350 with two pixels per byte is
- actually more data to move around than 320x200 with one pixel per
- byte.
