- My understanding is that the fuel load of the external centerline tank
- is combined with the internal in the readout and is used up before the
- internal fuel. This allows you to jettison the tank with the least
- consequences (internal fuel is maximized). Note that the centerline
- tank is treated as ground ordinance so when you jettison, everything
- but the AAMs go.
