  12. My understanding is that the fuel load of the external centerline tank
  13. is combined with the internal in the readout and is used up before the
  14. internal fuel.  This allows you to jettison the tank with the least
  15. consequences (internal fuel is maximized).  Note that the centerline
  16. tank is treated as ground ordinance so when you jettison, everything
  17. but the AAMs go.
