- I've tried three:
-
- A coworker bought the one with Omar Sharif's name attached to it, and
- we were disappointed. The play is fair, but the 'opponents' are
- kind of hard to figure out. Exactly what conventions they play by does
- not seem to be determinable, and all the file save and load functions
- do not work, so you have to make notes by hand if you get an interesting deal.
-
- Then I bought one the name of which I've forgotten, but it was
- buggy and I took it back to Egghead. When I get my 486 in a few days
- I'll be able to read my notes on what it was... If anybody *really* needs
- to know. (I'm using my Mac now, got rid of the 386 already)
-
- I traded it for "Micro Bridge Companion" which does *not* have impressive
- graphics, but does play well. I've found what *I* wanted, which is a
- program good enough to keep my interest through a lunch hour, and
- reliable, consistent, and intelligent enough to make me think I'm learning
- better play as I use it.
