- That's the one. Good graphics, excellent flight modeling with a '486 or
- co-processor, great mechanics of play in the campaign mode, lots of
- variety, very challenging opponents. Be sure to get the Operation Fighting
- Tiger supplement, it is cheap and doubles the available theaters while
- fixing many bugs and adding features.
-
- Manually set vert and horiz scan patterns on your radar. Execute real
- flight maneuvering with your wingies. Fly with or against someone over
- a modem or Novell network. Watch people flee from a building you are
- attacking (using debug mode, of course), or just be aware that those
- trucks you are trying to line up on may contain some SAM teams who would
- *love* to meet you close up...if you give them time to set up. Marvel at
- the ability of enemy planes to disappear until you trap them in your six
- a few moments later. Watch pieces fly off of that plane you just winged,
- and watch them fall all the way to the ground, if you like. Experience the
- thrill of coming over a ridge to see 2, 5, an even dozen radar sets wake up
- and track you, missles arcing up like pyrotechnic telephone poles straight
- for you. Pray for SEAD. Watch tanks fight on the ground below you. Look
- at damage left behind from previous raids, now partly fixed. Laugh at the
- silly Mig-19 drivers..."Alpha Mike Foxtrot!"
-
- *This*...is a real game. Be sure to consider wasting large amounts of
- money on ThrustMasters' excellent throttle and stick. You won'
- t regret it.
