- I had problems myself getting the digitized speech to work.
- I don't have s SoundBlaster but a MediaVision ThunderBoard
- which is SoundBlaster compatible. But at one time I installed
- a SoundBlaster on someone elses PC, and I noticed that
- the SB installs and environment variable called BLASTER
- into the autoexec.bat. So I dutifully added a remark line
- to my autoexec thinking that someday this knowledge might be
- useful. In short, this is probably the problem, add

- SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 T3

- I/O Address

- to your autoexec and reboot, or just set it on the command line.
