- I also think that modem games by Internet seems quite feasible. The
- basic plan---put the terminal in raw mode, connect to the other player
- with a socket or stream, then switch into the game, and pass all the
- characters back and forth---seems sound.

- There are certainly a few potential problems, though. One is that if
- you are logged in with telnet or rlogin, then you are probably going to
- have trouble whenever you try to send the telnet or rlogin escape
- character. Another is that if you really disable all special
- characters, then disconnecting the game (except by hanging up) may not
- be so easy.

- Still, I'm willing to give it a try. Although I've been waiting to see
- if anyone else would speak up and offer any suggestions or experience.
