- OK, I'm about ready to give up! Recently, I posted a message saying I
- was having trouble with my joystick (i.e., becoming non-functional after
- a few minutes.) I d/l the WC joystick patch prog. (thanks to those who
- gave me tips.) Still did the same thing. Last night, I even
- re-installed WC2 and SO2 - BOTH did the SAME thing! I don't think is a
- "calibration" problem anymore; the games *ignore* the joystick after a
- few minutes. Anyway, I'm running these games on a 386/40 using the
- joustick port of my old SoundBlaster card (rev 1.5, I think.) My
- current theory is, if I get a joystick card for fast machines (the kind
- that "auto-sense" the cpu speed), should this solve the problem? I'd
- like some idea before I shell out $30 for a joystick card. Thanks!
