- I'm stuck at the machines room in the cave in Demon's World. What should I do
- with the control panel with sliders. Does the abstract "art" thing above it
- help us in selecting the values on the sliders?

- BTW, despite all the earlier postings that the initial simulation can't be won,
- IT IS POSSIBLE to win the fight. The trick is to maintain warp 8 throughout the
- battle, whether you get hit or not. Keep your eyes on the enemy ship on the
- radar and then only focus on the main viewer when the two dots are about to
- merge. There is no need to switch to big screen view 'cos at warp 8 your ship
- will travel too fast pass the enemy after hitting it the first few times; you
- need the radar to tell you where to travel.
-
- Hit the enemy with all you've got simultaneously when it has slowed down after
- being hit initially. Only then do you slow down to about warp 2. If the
- Republic (enemy ship) still doesn't buckle, go back to warp 8 and continue --
- it should --- soon. No need to run off if you have been hit, maintain pursuit.
- Your doggedness will pay off. Repairs are faster than you think.
