- Bought it this weekend in Chicagoland. I have misgivings about
- this game. The graphics are alot like Wolf3D. The town is
- huge. But it seems like all you do is run around and do earns
- such as "Go to the Jug and Ale tavern. Pick up a basket and
- take it to the Dead Mans Inn for 23 gold". The box boasted 45
- quests. So far the only quests I have been on are these earns
- (even the ones required for guild initiation are earns).
-
- It looks like it had great potential but these stupid quests
- are really boring. I could have saved the $50 and "Went to the
- local food store. Bought $50 worth of food and beer. Go back
- home" :)
-
- One last thing, does anyone think this looks really cheap by
- having digitized pictures of what looks like the friends of the
- developers used to represent the townspeople. Uck.
-
- My suggestion is to wait for UW II.
