- You should establish caches of food and so on at strategic points. After
- you've killed the hostile things in a new area you can ditch your armour
- and go back for the cached equipment if necessary. The other people and
- creatures in the game don't touch it. But one does tend to accumulate
- far more stuff than one needs - you can always create some food, after
- all.

- I just replayed as a shepherd, using Unarmed combat only and refusing to
- trade except for two important items (so I like a challenge :-) With a
- strength of 18 she still managed to wear a breastplate and helm at the
- end of the game (the rest of her armour was magical and as good as or
- better than plate.) I had ridiculous amounts of gold, gems, food and
- magical items lying around by the end, despite my resolution not to
- hoard things this time.

- But shepherds have fewer statistics points to start with. All the other
- classes have 60 points spread among Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence,
- shepherds have 56.
