  34. As was remarked, and as is consistent with the SECOND stated purpose
  35. above, this would probably let the laptop access the tape drive on the
  36. SCSI chain, although you probably need to turn the 486 off or the
  37. SCSI-Ids would conflict.

  39. The FIRST stated purpose above, to allow the 486 to access the
  40. laptop's drive directly, probably CANNOT be achieved this way,
  41. however, oak.oakland.edu:/pub/msdos/lan/unet11.zip is a program which uses
  42. a parallel port connection to permit one PC access to the drives and
  43. printers on the other PC, and should permit the laptop (configured as
  44. the Workstation) to access the drives on the 486 (configured as the
  45. Server).
