  19. I Just downloaded StringWriter.lib and it works good.
  20. The file has been changed ( the first copy was corrupted )

  24. Here is a short documentation :

  26. * EDIT : takes an object from level one and edit it
  27.          pressing enter puts that object on the stack after beeing parsed
  28.          When editing, the cursor moves too fast, press - to slow it
  29.          Pressing + fasten the cursor movments
  30.          To get the + or - char you must be in alpha mode
  31.          There is a menu bar with :
  32.          ASCII : for entering a specific char , enter the ASCII code
  33.          GOTO  : to jump to a specified line
  34.          ->BEG : jump to the beginnig of a selection
  35.          ->END :jump to the end of a selection
  36.          DEL L : deletes the current line
  37.          INFO  : informations about the text ...
  38.                  You must keep the key pressed.
  39.          BEGIN : maks the beginning of the selection
  40.          END   : marks the end of the selection
  41.          CUT   : cuts the selection
  42.          COPY  : copy the selection to the clip
  43.          PASTE : insert the clip content before the cursor
  44.          DEL   : deletes the selected text
  45.          FIND  : find a pattern starting from the cursor position
  46.          REPL  : find and replace
  47.          NEXT  : jump to the next occurence of the pattern
  48.          R     : repplace the pattern 
  49.          R/N   : replace the pattern and jump to the next occurence
  50.          R/ALL : replace all the folowing occurences
  51.  
  52. Pressing ENTER saves the changes to the stack
  53. pressing ON quits with no changes ( you are queried )
  54.  
  55. * VISIT  : Works like the Shift-Blue VISIT key
  56. * EDD    : takes an objects from level one and the edit the object
  57.            named ->S which is either in port 0,1 ro 2
  58.            I don't know the purpose of this command
  59. * VZ     : is to EDD what VISIT is to EDIT
  60. * NEW    : start and editing session with a null string
  61. ->FNT    : to change the font , it takes a GROB from level one
  62.            I dont't know which format it should be
  63. *Info  : the about function ( I never saw something like that )

  65. Download the lib and try it, it's worth the 16908 bytes it takes.
