- I will try to address som of Brian Schott's questions (about SCH48). I'm
- afraid that the HP48 will automatically delete an alarm if a key press is
- made while the alarm is sounding (or I don't know of a way to avoid
- this). You can set a flag, as I think Brian alluded to, that will make
- all alarms silent (i.e. they wil beep once but the continuous beep won't
- sound). If you don't hit a key during the first 15 seconds after the
- alarm sounds, the alarm will remain as a past due alarm. I know, for
- your purposes this is a little awkward. I am considering giving the
- option of creating alarms that don't sound at all. Would this be useful?

- As for the D->CAL function in SCH48, it is only intended to quickly
- display a given month and will disappear as soon as a key is hit. The
- alarms must be set inside SCHED or using the HP48 TIME utility. Describe
- to me what you would lide to do with D->CAL (that's LIKE to do) and maybe
- I'll update that as well.
-
- As for the newline character (if you haven't already found it), try
- right-shift .(period key).
-
- I hope this helps
