- I bought the hp48 calc last semester during the "BACK TO SCHOOL"
- sale. I sent in the coupon and got a serial cable and some software.
- The trouble is that I don't know the first thing about the Kermit program
- or how to install it, and also I have no idea how to set baud settings
- and what a file transfer protocal is. Can somebody please describe to me
- in non-technical terms how to download software from an IBM PC to my hp48
- using the Kermit program. I've looked at the readme files but they didn't
- help much. Also, I don't understand the distinction between the various
- types of programs that I received (.SRC etc.) although I think I know what
- a .GROB file means. I really hope somebody out there can help me out as
- someone gave me a couple of disks full of hp48 software for Christmas which
- he downloaded from the hp BBS. The on;y trouble is he's in Germany right now.
- Some of these programs are really neat. So, somebody.... HELP!!!
