  20. THE EXAM MODE IDEA WAS A J-O-K-E!  Really!  It's NOT in version J, nor any
  21. other versions!

  23. Do you really think that anyone would still _bother_ to bring their HP-48
  24. to an exam if it was going to be turned into something less capable than a
  25. HP-32S II?

  27. And do you really think that, in a lecture hall with 50 students with
  28. HP-48's, a professor's really going to go around and put all the HP-48's
  29. into exam mode?

  31. Well, I guess the only solution is to have RF ACTIVATED EXAM MODE -- a
  32. teacher, with a special tranmitter sold to him or her by HP upon proving
  33. that he or she really is a GENUINE PROFESSOR, presses a magic button that
  34. causes the HP-48 system software, which reads a RF RECEIVER every 244.1us, to
  35. turn on EXAM MODE until the button is released.
