- Yes, Lutz HAS published a PD version of QED. Several, in fact! The PD
- version does have limitations. Herr Vieweg calls them "evaluation"
- versions. The main limitation is that after a couple of minutes running
- QED, the evaluation version simply exits, saving whatever changes you've
- made.

- In the documentation he provides with the evaluation version, he states
- that the user should feel free to use the evaluation version as long as
- you want. I have been using v1.07 for several months and I like it. I
- am planning on sending him the licensing fee soon so that I can get a
- version that doesn't time out on me. I think most people get tired of
- that. I'm just a terrible procrastinator.
