- I have a Floppy drive that works on a NeXt and a Sun.
- We don't have any floppy drives on our 700's and I had a one time
- need for one (loading Liken) so I figured what the hey.
- The 'search ' in the boot rom recognizes it as a "PLI SUPERFLOPPY".
- Trying to access the drive does not work when the system is up.
- The OS level is 9.01. /etc/diskscan
- core dumps, Sam says it uses driver "?", mediainit fails with
- "i/o" error. The scsifloppy driver is in the kernal.
- If it should work I would like it to. If there is no way I
- would be curious why not.
-
- thanks,
- hurf
