- There are, as someone else pointed out, several "flavours" of this card -
- 3Com, Novell, and TCP/IP (I don't think this is exhaustive). You need to get
- the right kind of card for the host system you have "feeding" the printer.

- I have installed / configured the TCP/IP card with an HPUX host system.
- The data transfer program opens a socket connection to the printer, and
- basically pours the data down the socket to the printer. Voila!
- And does it go fast, or does it go fast.
