- I am looking for several utilities for 9000/400's running
- 7.0 and 8.0. I have checked the faq, but it makes no reference to
- any of them:
-
- a) Something to more or less convert /etc/printcap's to the
- equivalent lpadmin statements. It would save me a lot of time
- having to do this on 8 different hp's.
-
- b) A talk and talk daemon for the hp.
-
- c) Help compiling gcc - I have never had a problem compiling
- it on DEC's and SUN's. It won't compile on 8.0 because of the
- assembler, but it is supposed to compile on 7.0 without
- incident. Is there something special I should know?
-
- d) Tip and slip. The tip and slip I have found don't
- save any sysV support.
-
- e) xbiff - not that big a deal. Trying to compile X11r4
- programs outside of the sources can be a big hassle.
-
- Thanks for any help you can give me.
