  14. I have a DAT tape drive with built in compression.  I have created the necessary
  15. device files to use the tape drive in compression enabled mode.   When I use
  16. TAR with the tape drive it appears to be compressing properly.  However
  17. when using fbackup the tape does not appear to operate with compression
  18. enabled.  Does anyone have any ideas?
