  16. On a HP9000 running HPUX 8.07 the following problem occurs:

  18.   It seems that the command
  19.     >umodem -sb somefile<
  20.   is useable only by root.
  21.  
  22.   If I try to use umodem as a normal user I get the following message:
  23.     >can't change TTY mode<
  24.
