- You didn't say where one can get ntp for the HP's. The stock code does
- not seem to compile. I *believe* there is a HP version (or patches) on
- louie.udel.edu. In the FAQ it mentions that xntp is available from
- iworks, too. Anyone interested should also check out the
- comp.protocols.time.ntp newsgroup. Going through the archives of this
- newsgroup I see that Mark Bixby posted Ken Stone's patches here not so
- very long ago...

- Alternately, in the HP-UX archive at iworks there is "timed" - a simpler
- method of keeping a group of machines synced time-wise, and my opinion a
- better solution if a) you don't have a WWWV clock interfaced to a system
- locally; and b) you are not directly on Internet and can sync to the
- appropriate stratum 2 or 3 server.
