  11. We are using the LaserROM software on an HP9000/847s, HP-UX 8.02.  We have
  12. several PostScript LaserWriters that we print to over AppleTalk using
  13. the PacerPrint software from Pacer.

  15. According to the Response Center, LaserROM will only send output in PCL
  16. format (LaserJet et. al.)  This means we cannot print formatted output from
  17. the LaserROM to our printers.  We do not have a LaserJet available, and the
  18. LaserWriters are dedicated to PostScript and thus cannot be set to
  19. PCL mode.

  21. We are looking for a filter that will convert PCL formating to postscript, or
  22. even to "dumb" printer formatting (overstrike and backspace).  If anyone
  23. knows of a solution, I would be most grateful to hear from you.
