- Another correspondent also mentioned the Hayes Mode vs. the DF03 Mode.

- These modems are evidently in DF03 mode, because they say 'Ready' and
- not 'OK'. My other correspondent thought 'ENA AT' was the command to
- put them in Hayes Mode, but that can't be right, because 'ENA' just
- gives the Phone Numbers stored in Registers 'E', 'N', and 'A'.

- I found that ^G causes them to go Off Hook and report 'Attached', but
- they are just pulling dial tome and are not actually dialing or
- connecting to anything.
