- I have a requirement to have users access VAXes across a large TCP/IP backbone.
- The users need to be using DECNET as a transport because of application
- constraints imposed by the software developer. The question I have is how or
- what products can be used to allow either encapsulation or translation of the
- DECNET protocol going into the TCP/IP backbone and reemerging on the other end
- and being changed back to DECNET. The backbone has been known to suffer
- congestion on ocasion which may also impact timers, etc.
-
- Any help would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks.
