- You find a bigger drive and I'll let you know 8-). The RD54 has 15 data
- heads (the 16th is used for the servo) and the 2000 can select 16 heads.
- The RD54 has 17 sectors/track, which is the design spec for MFM drives and
- can't be changed in the 2000. The RD54 has 1224 (or 1226, depending on who
- you ask) cylinders, which is about the only place things could increase
- usefully. However, vendors have increased the bits/track before increasing
- cylinders, so you'll be hard-pressed to find an MFM drive with more cylin-
- ders.
