- Hello
-
- Anyone have some idea of what kind of resources (how much) would be involved in
- maintaining a remote session from a VAX?
-
- For example, I telnet from my VAX at work to the local Universities Vax about
- 3 miles away to read news (not available on the work machine). I suspect the
- only resource being used here is a very small amount of CPU time. Can anyone
- tell me roughly how much? I suppose a sysadmin could make a similiar
- connection and monitor the process to see exactly how much, right? I would be
- very intrested in knowing, and also, it would be nice to have something to
- compare the number to, eg maybe its comparable to an editing session?
-
- Thanks for any help.
