- I totally disagree with your comments ... not because I'm working for DEC
- .. I can be very critic about some stuff which happens in my company ...
-
- In this case, you should put the question in its context ...
- Believe it or not, but we have a lot of requests from customers for OSF/1
- Alpha. This means that we have a lot of work to answer all different aspects
- and we cannot do everything in one day ! We have to put some priorities !
- The mail you are speaking about has to be putted in this context : asking for
- some feedback to put a priority.
-
- And even if you feel that this kind of questions is 'pathetic', be sure
- that a lot of people inside DEC knows very well what they have to do to
- be successfull inside the Unix market. And one of this person is Bob Palmer
- himself !
-
- But I totally agree that we should tell in a more positive way all things
- we are doing internally to answer your problems.
-
- I'm working for DEC since 5 years, and worked before for SUN during 4 years.
- Believe me ... Things are changing dramatically inside DEC and in the good
- direction ...
-

- Marc Sybertz.
