- What a coincidence! Christopher Phillips, John West and I are planning some
- low-cost expansions.

- Our expansion may become 17xx compatible, and it could accept SIMMs of 256 kB,
- 1 MB or even 4 megabytes.

- This device we are planning would also contain Z85C80, a chip of two
- high-speed RS232 interfaces and a DMA-controlled SCSI bus, in which you could
- plug a fixed disk, among others. All of these interfaces could access the
- expansion memory via DMA, leaving the 6510 free. The processor would be halted
- only when transferring between C64 memory and the extension memory.

- We have some plans for expanding the graphics abilities, but nothing clear.

- A DMA our expansion will contain hastens memory transfers, if the program
- is written to use it. And an external graphics processor could do many
- complicated calculations in a split second, but again only if the program is
- written to use it. If you want to run existing programs faster, you need a
- 65xx(x) accelerator.
