  16. Just a while ago, I dusted my old '41, and noticed that it
  17. was out of order: it starts humming, but doesn't know when
  18. to stop. I have this vague idea, that the disk should stop 
  19. spinning and the led should emit some green light... 
  20. I searched for loose wires, components covered with ashes 
  21. etc, but to me it seems to be just fine. Any ideas?

  23. I also downloaded the x1541.exe from an ftp-site, but 
  24. didn't find any documents. I sort of fantasized, I could 
  25. replace my non-functional 1541 with my PC and a few Mbytes
  26. of storage. I still wonder, if such a beast exist.
  27. You know, there are still a couple of good time killers
  28. for c64.
