  13. I have a Seagate ST157N which appears to have a bad imbedded SCSI
  14. controller board based on the fact that the drive spins but isn't
  15. recognized by my 1040STf/ICD Advantage+ (using ICDFormat) or a Mac IIci
  16. (using La Cie's Silverlining).  I'm sure the SCSI cable is properly
  17. connected and terminated in both cases.

  19. I would like to know if there are places that sell hard drive parts where I
  20. might be able to buy a working controller or if someone here knows how to
  21. repair this controller.  Are there other newsgroups I can post this message
  22. to?
