- I have a Seagate ST157N which appears to have a bad imbedded SCSI
- controller board based on the fact that the drive spins but isn't
- recognized by my 1040STf/ICD Advantage+ (using ICDFormat) or a Mac IIci
- (using La Cie's Silverlining). I'm sure the SCSI cable is properly
- connected and terminated in both cases.

- I would like to know if there are places that sell hard drive parts where I
- might be able to buy a working controller or if someone here knows how to
- repair this controller. Are there other newsgroups I can post this message
- to?
