  15.     Any monitor tec boffins out there that can answer some questions for
  16. me ? Concerning monitors and the Falcon.

  18.     I plan to buy a Falcon later in the year, with 4Mb RAM, 88Mb HD (from
  19. a third party surplier, cos it works out cheaper then the 64Mb package deal :-)
  20. and a SVGA monitor.

  22.     But at the moment I have enough for the monitor, so I'd like to buy it
  23. now and connect it up to my STe until I manage to get the Falcon.

  25.     What I need to know is what sort of monitor will I need to buy, so that
  26. I can display all the Falcon modes upto the 768x480 'True colour' 
  27. (Over-scanned) without interlace, and still be able to use it on my STe in
  28. Low, Med and High reses ?

  30. (I realise that I'll have to buy a multisync switch box for my STe.)

  32.     What is the tec. defination for the above monitor, ie SVGA, XGA or
  33. what ??? What would a PC magazine advert call this type of monitor ?

  35.     What is the differance between SVGA, Multisync, Alphasync, Panasync
  36. etc etc or are they the same sort of thing and just trying to confuse me :-)

  38.     Any particular makes and models you can recomend would also be handy,
  39. I'm looking at 14" less then 280 pounds types.
