  13. I wonder if any TT people out there can help me?

  15. I am writing a device driver to run under OS-9 on the TT, to talk to an
  16. Ethernet card called the Bionet VME from Biodata GmbH.  The example
  17. driver from Biodata running under TOS just polls the chip, but under
  18. OS-9 I need the Ethernet to generate an interrupt.  I haven't yet
  19. succeeded in doing so.

  21. The Ethernet chip is a DP8390, and has an INT output.

  23. Looking at the tracks on the Ethernet card, there is a connection to the
  24. *IRQ5 line, so I guess it should be possible somehow.

  26. I was concerned that I could not see any tracks to *IACK, *IACKIN and
  27. *IACKOUT. Is the TT VME bus non-standard in some way?

  29. The only information I have on the TT is a Field Service Manual with
  30. circuit diagrams, but no programming information. The VME *IRQ5 line
  31. appears to be called XIRQ5 and goes to the TTSCU pin /BIR5. The XIRQ5
  32. line also gets driven by the SCC interrupt.

  34. If the VME *IRQ5 is aserted, does the TT execute a standard IACK cycle
  35. on the VME bus? Or does the TTSCU define some sort of automatic vector?
  36.  
  37. Any relevant advice would be much appreciated - particularly from anyone
  38. familiar with the Bionet card!
