  28. Someone asks to be convinced to stay with Atari (and I know Chris, and
  29. I'm pretty sure that it was an honest request), and all you can do is
  30. say "Take off, we don't need you".  That says two things to me:

  32. 1) There is nothing Atari's most rabid supporters can actually say in
  33. its favor.
  34.  
  35. 2) Users such as this needn't blame the Tramiels for Atari's
  36. downfall--telling everyone who wants to be convinced to "take a hike"
  37. is pretty poor P.R.

  39. Sorry, I've got more than two things.

  41. 3) This is about third grade recess levels of maturity, so take your
  42. bat and ball and go home, and try to catch those left fielders
  43. yourself.

  45. I can perfectly understand Chris' situation--wanting someone to
  46. convince him to stick with a platform that he feels some loyalty
  47. toward, I'm feeling it myself these days--and I'm amazed at the
  48. helpful reactions he's gotten.
