- I'm not _quite_ sure if it can be done in software; maybe you would
- have to set a jumper or exchange the controller ROMs. BTW: Old Macs
- have the same problem, so maybe Syquest has a "Mac version" of their
- controller firmware.

- TOS 2.06 fixed this problem by making at least two read attempts
- from each device on the ACSI bus, so that's another possibility
- to solve the problem.
