  15.     Have you tried letting the countdown go all the way and seeing if it 
  16. boots?  I am not saying that your drive needs the full 90 secs, but I know
  17. that my drive (Quantum LPS105) needs 20seconds (according to noroach) - at
  18. 10 seconds it boots some of the time, and absolutely will not boot at 0
  19. seconds.  Your Conner may just be trying to initialize itself when you try to 
  20. boot from it.
