- Hi!
-
- Yesterday, I connected a Conner RZ23L hard disk (120Mb) as the internal
- hard disk to a TT (TOS 3.05, probably rev. C), but that combination doesn't
- work as it should.
-
- At bootup, after I pressed the space bar, the hard disk LED remains on and
- the system doesn't see and doesn't boot from the hard disk. Now, I have
- connected another SCSI hard disk through an ICD host adapter to the DMA
- port of the TT, and the system does see that one and boots from it. After
- the TT has exited the driver software (ICD 6.0.4) the LED of the Conner
- goes out. If I then run the driver from the desktop or relog the hard
- disks, the Conner is seen and mounted by the system and I can use it
- perfectly. I only can not boot from it, and that is just the thing I want
- to! I have put the terminator resistors on the HD, so that's not the
- problem. I also have tried various jumper setting, but they didn't help.
-
- I have heard that various problems are known when using Conner HD on TT's,
- so can anyone help me out? Or does anyone have some documentation on this
- Conner HD concerning the meaning of the various jumper settings??
