- I had stated that it was cheaper to dispose of STs than
- PCs over the last 7 years. Your argument that this does
- not apply to the present day situation because of PC
- upgradability ASSUMES that an Atari is not easily upgradable.
- Hey, I have recently boosted several TTs to 32 megs of
- RAM; they can be boosted to 64 megs. Graphics cards are
- pluggable, etc. You are assuming that Atari's will remain
- less upgradable than PCs. We shall have to wait and see.
