- Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all!
-
- I've been having a few weird problems with my TT - my keyboard shortcuts on
- the desktop gets trashed as soon as I use an application...
-
- What happens is this:
-
- I have defined shortcuts and have saved the NEWDESK.INF file. The line
- containing the sh/c's looks like this:
-
- #K XX YY NN NN NN..... where NN, XX and YY are hexcodes for the characters
- used. I've marked out the two first codes as XX and YY because when I
- execute a programme and returns, my codes are trashed. The first one is OK,
- but the second one is altered and the rest are either arrows or closebox/
- fullbox characters. When I save the NEWDESK.INF file or look at the memory
- the line looks like this:
-
- #K XX Y#K XX YY NN NN NN NN NN .....
-
- It simply adds the header + the first one and a half code to the existing
- string for no apparent reason. I have to re-edit my .INF file everytime I
- add an icon and stuff like that and my sh/c's are useless. Have any of you
- experienced this?
-
- I'm using a fairly new version of the TT (1.44 MB drive) w/ TOS 3.06. 2 MB
- ST RAM (My GE-SOFT 32MB card came back from Germany today - I'll test it
- later on). No additional software loaded except the AHDI 5.00 driver.
-
- Please reply if you've seen these things happen...
