  18. about a text editor for the PC that ran "considerably faster" than

  21. This may be true, but only because the hardware was upgraded at a
  22. considerable expense.

  24. When will people realize the scam that Microsoft is pulling?  Remember
  25. the 286?  Remember that it only need 1 meg and a 20 meg hard drive?
  26. Did it do everything you needed it to do?  Pretty much.  So why do you
  27. now need a minimum 4 megs, windows, and a large hard disk just to have
  28. a system that will run the standard software?
