  10. Maybe I should post this to one of the mac groups too, but I will
  11. start here.  I am currently using Zterm (version .9 or something like
  12. that) with Spectre.  I would like to be able to enter two different
  13. key sequences that I have not been able to figure out.

  15. How do I send and ESC key?  For example, I need to send and ESC when I
  16. am in emacs.  The ESC key does not seem to function as an escape key
  17. under Mac emulation.

  19. How do I send a ^_ (that is control-shift-underbar).  The key sequence
  20. is used in Pine (to switch to alternative editor).

  22. A quick browsing thru my Spectre docs did not get me anywhere.  Is
  23. this a limitation of the Mac or Z-term that is causing my frustration?

  25. Also does anybody suggest that I scrap Z-term for a superiour
  26. (share/free-ware) program ?
