- Well, I think that below periscope depth the angle for torpedoes is taken from
- the current bearing. That means, that you may simply change your bearing to set
- it. That's very useful when you are submerged and hunted by enemy destroyers:
- Set the bearing to 90 degrees, perhaps, and wait until the destroyer seems to be
- in a good position. Of course these damned bastards like to change their course
- just a second before they are going to be hit :-). I've lost many,many torpedoes
- trying to hit one lonely destroyer. A better way is to wait until the enemies
- give up hunting you. Then go up to periscope depth and give them a shot into the
- back.
