  21. Which I believe is massively unfair since most Atari users are NOT on GEnie
  22. or Compuserve.  I realize that this might be different in the U.S., but this
  23. just shows how ICD fails to perceive international markets. (And I'm willing
  24. to bet that they sold five times as many adapters in Germany than in the U.S.)

  29. That's the point.  They charge DM 20 (some $13) for the new software.  While
  30. this may not seem much, keep in mind that there have been quite a number of
  31. revisions of the (IMO very good) ICD software, and you cannot always know
  32. which version solves your particular problem.

  34. To be fair, there IS the possibility to d/l their software from a mailbox in
  35. Germany, but the long distance phone charge would be even more than DM 20 :-(
