- Actually, the joystick ports use a 6520 PIA chip so with software they
- can do I/O. Do you remember the MPP Modems that hooked up to joystick
- port #2? A few handles were written to give them the "Hayes" command
- set & a few other features. I mostly did the hack for people that didn't
- want to spend $50 to $200 to get an interface so it's not like I did a
- real great job<grin>. I got it working with a couple of RS232 devices
- then took a break. I've already U/L'd it in the message base so if you're
- interested I could send it E-mail. There's some stuff you'll need to find
- like the handlers which should let you run your own basic progam/Amodem or
- get a copy of Express.MPP. I don't want top bother with UEE'ing the
- binaries if at all possible. It's cheap, but it works.
