  12.         My wife has recently gotten quite hot on the idea of
  13.     getting our 4-year-old daughter comfortable with computers. So,
  14.     since I still had my Atari system, I started setting it up for
  15.     my daughter. The only problem we foresee at present is with the
  16.     joystick: I'm not sure which one I have, exactly - it's a tall
  17.     red one, with a white fire button on top of the stick, as well
  18.     as a button on the base - but my daughter finds it very hard
  19.     to manipulate, because her left hand is not strong enough to
  20.     hold the base down hard enough so she can effectively manipu-
  21.     late the stick.

  23.         At one time, I had a nice little joystick: a cube-like
  24.     base, with a small stick that could be manipulated with liter-
  25.     ally just two fingers while you rested your wrist on the base.
  26.     The stick moved so easily, you didn't need to hold the base
  27.     down at all. Something like this would have been perfect for
  28.     my daughter, but - unfortunately - that particular joystick
  29.     broke some years ago.

  31.         Anyway, what I was wondering is: can anyone point me to
  32.     a source for some easy-to-manipulate joystick appropriate for
  33.     my daughter? Or, if anyone happens to have a joystick like the
  34.     one I described in my 2nd paragraph... would you consider sell-
  35.     ing it?
