- your best bet is to simply buy the package from Morgan Davis (various
- mail-order houses carry it).. Modemworks (now up to 3.0) contains
- commands to do most (ifnot all) of what you want in your software.
- (for instance, MW can dial out.. it recognizes the modem response codes
- and can act on them - so it would know if the attempt to connect was
- successful, the phone wans't answered, or if the line was busy)
